This year has been a great year for FPR. We’ve been blessed with the addition of FIVE new permabloggers: aliquis, BHodges, Enoch, MormonDeadHead, and oudenos. We were also thankful to have BiV as a guest. It has also been a year where many members of our team have been blessed personally, in their families, and professionally. All in all, we have a lot to be grateful for around here.
We are also thankful for our readers, new and old, who help make this a wonderful place to have a conversation.
The following list represents some of my favorite posts at FPR this year, limiting myself to just one per author. The list is entirely my own, and does not represent the solicited opinion of any of the other members here. If you have any to add, please do so in the comments.
aliquis: Textual Criticism
BHodges: Research and Responsibility
Chris H.: I Think I am Done, Thanks.*
Enoch: I’d like to bear my nuancimony…
g.wesley: Visions
Jupiters Child: A Hospital for those infected with PhD
MormonDeadHead: Levels of Understanding in Isaiah?
oudenos: Does the BoM take it easy on Satan?
Secco: Are Mormons Ready for an LDS Study Bible?
smallaxe: Imposed Openness
TT: (I narrowed it down to my favorite 13, but seriously couldn’t choose.)
The Yellow Dart: (Re)Writing the Bible in Antiquity and Today
*Okay, so that one is a joke. For a great post by Chris with links to is favorites, see here.
It’s been a good year at the blog. Merry Christmas, FPR.
Some great stuff in that list, TT. I’m glad to throw my mite in here at FPR.
Haha.
yes, a good year.
I loved Chris H.’s quitting post for the sole reason that, in his farewell, he suggested that he was morphing from a human into a community college.
Hmmmm.
See, you’re not a big man on campus, Chris. You are the campus.
